Sunday Funday and some progress on the caddy

Today we planned on doing a real simple oil change on the caddy plus some other lil things
(changed plug wires blah blah blah blah little shit that will nickle and dime the shit out of you)
Could not for the life of us get the damn old oil filter off, everyone had a go tryin' to get it off, ol' Uncle troy tho came and saved the day that old bastard got it off in 5 minutes. After the oil filter problem was solved, I finished ripping all the insulation out, Nick and Kalieb swept all the little rusty pieces left out of it, then I rolled down some truck bed liner to keep it sealed before I lay the carpet.  Theres one hole that I need to patch then floor work will pretty much be complete.

Heres a helmet I relined last weeeeek

And heres a picture of the boys and lil gypsi strollin' through home depot

AND I got some green flake vinyl sittin' in my work room that i'm debatin' on doin the bottom half of my door panels in, I figured if I stick with my pink paint scheme that green would look good wth it and then if I just go black with it, it'll look good that way also, hell i'll more than likely be rollin' in some primer for a while anyway.

Holy Shit.

I had myself stocked up on coffee to do some major pedalin on the sewin machine these next 2 days
(20+ orders to ship out by Thursday!)
My sweet little Gypsi Rose has had a runny nose and cough these past couple of days, but I just thought it was allergies because shes never gotten sick. Boy oh Boy at 3am she had me all worried throwing up everytime she coughed and she would lose her breath when she did cough and I would have a mini heart attack each time. Poor little baby was coughing so hard she busted all her vains underneath of her eyes.
So a trip to the E.R told us that she was RSV which could take anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks to heal!
EEEEEEKKK!!!!!
It isnt anything major its just like a really really bad cold that lasts for like EVER.
The big problem is that shes under 2 which means she can't take any medicine :(
so I made the decision to shut the online shop down temporary until shes all better. All orders placed will be shipped out on Thursday as scheduled.  This is where the coffee part kicks in, its like having a newborn all over again she sleeps in 30minute intervals then wakes up screaming and crying, and its safe to say I've had only 4 hours of sleep SO I do believe I wont be sleeping tonight ether just so I can finish these orders.

BLESS HER HEART.
Maybe I will have time now tho (once I get orders completed) to work on things for myself like this damn quilt that I will never ever finish or a skirt for myeslf.
More then likely not tho. I cant wait to be able to support myself .

AND here are some photos from Sunday Funday that I didn't have a chance to post

new business cards, babies in dryers and tornaders

New business cards I was pretty sure I was going to hate them but I actually really love them!
You can swing by the shop (junkyard tattoo) and pick you up some

weeeeeeeeeeee why do kids love playing in dryers so much?
I always think of the movie Rocket Man that part where hes in the washer and pretending like hes in a rocket ship going to outerspace, and if you have ever seen the movie Rocket Man then you are AWSOME.
If you have not then netflix it, its HILARIOUS.

I thought when I moved out of Alabama I wouldn't have to deal with this tornado shit anymore?
Looks like tonight i'll be holding down the fort and keepin' an eye out for them funnel clouds.
severe weather can kiss my ass.

succulents, booty shorts and careers.

Thursday! which means post office run to mail orders, the post office people I think hate me because of how much stuff I always bring them to process, BUT I keep hearing about how usps is doing so bad and we may not have post offices anymore so I cant find it in my heart YET to give ups or fedex my money.

Planted some succulents in some vintage containers.
These are my absolute hands down most favorite plants EVER, they are hard to kill
(just dont over water them or put in the direct sun or they will die)
They are just so quirky and I think go perfectly with my vintage dishware collection!

We had amazing weather today!
So of course feeling all summer-ish my green thumb kicked in.
I made a lil redneck flower bed.

And I even scrubbed on the caddy a bit and ripped out some more insulation, Once I can find a baby sitter for a decent amount of time I can get the seats unbolted the rest of the carpet ripped out and lay the new carpet in, but I guess for right now I can just work in lil increments at a time cleaning what I can out.

Gypsi Roses allergies are going nuts so we had to come back inside for the rest of the day,
then she decided to wear my beani and vroom vroom around the house

So as I do every 2 or 11 times a year I contemplate my career choices.
Automotive upholstery is still top of my mind it will just be slower for me to get to where I wanna be because I have noone to teach me or guide me. I also have been having a hard time finding a reasonable priced industrial sewing machine BESIDES all that i've been considering getting certified in something, as a just incase something happened and I needed to get a "job where federal taxes are taken out" (I hate when people say "real job")Kinda like a plan b in life incase one day Kalieb isnt here and I would have to support The Gypsi and I.I was scrolling the list of all the stupid shit you can do at a technical college. The one thing that really caught my attention was just something that I can already do I cant lay some pretty dimes but I can do it and that is Welding. So I do believe that I am about to embark in the process to get my ass back in a school.
I gotta figure out how to get the government to pay for it
then I'll be on a roll to whoopin ass and takin names.
